Job Title: Scientist II/III – Biotherapeutics Discovery
Location: Ridgefield, CT
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct protein purification of monoclonal antibodies and antibody formats, supporting high-throughput experimentation and data generation for multiple project teams.
- Perform scientific experiments related to protein biochemistry, CMC evaluation, and biophysical characterization.
- Analyze and interpret data, prepare technical reports, and deliver updates to team members and management.
- Maintain scientific excellence in protein purification, expression, and characterization, staying current with relevant literature.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define and prioritize project goals, ensuring compliance with regulations and SOPs.
Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in protein purification, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, HPLC, and protein characterization (aggregation, glycosylation).
- Experience with liquid handling technology (e.g., Hamilton devices) and high-throughput process development is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of antibodies and multi-specific molecules.
- Familiarity with laboratory automation and digitalization.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
