Role Overview :
The Principal Scientist – Associate Director will play a key leadership role within the synthetic / process chemistry team, focusing on the development and optimization of drug substances for small molecule oncology therapies. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, contributing directly to advancing cancer treatments into clinical stages.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of synthetic routes for small molecule drug candidates.
- Drive process development and scale-up efforts from lab to commercial scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemistry, formulation, and manufacturing.
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory filings and ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior scientists, fostering a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
