Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. We are a school focused on a play based curriculium that fosters independence, engagement, social skills and fondational learning for all children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Incorporate literacy education strategies to enhance reading and writing skills among students.
- Teach physical education activities that promote health, fitness, and motor skills development.
- Integrate math concepts into daily activities to strengthen foundational numeracy skills.
- Apply methods where applicable to support independent learning and exploration.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in early childhood education setting.
- Strong skills in classroom management and lesson planning.
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques and early intervention strategies.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment for children with special needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A genuine love for working with young children and fostering their growth.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
- Meet all DCF requirements for lead teaching.
- 4K position must hold a valid DPI license to teach 4K in Wisconsin.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
