The Role
We are seeking a Data and Analytics Specialist to build and maintain systems that track key instructional data. This position will provide real-time insights for school leaders and educators as they collect and analyze assessment data, attendance rates, culture surveys, and more. In addition to identifying instructional trends, this team member will administer assessments, audit gradebooks and enrollment data, and ensure data integrity across the school. As a member of the school leadership team, the Data and Analytics Specialist will be a detail-oriented problem solver who can turn complex datasets into actionable insights.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as the school’s data expert, overseeing all data tracking and analytics.
- Identify trends and patterns in data collected that lead to actionable insights for school leaders and staff.
- Administer and manage school-wide assessments (e.g. iReady quarterly assessments and state exams) through training staff, coordinating logistics, ensuring test integrity, and managing accommodations.
- Manage student information system (Powerschool) including enrollment and rostering.
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure consistent progress monitoring and grading consistency across all grades and subjects.
- Run and distribute school report cards and progress reports.
- Uphold the integrity of scoring assignments, assessments, and report cards.
- Actively contribute to school leadership, representing the school to various stakeholders. Support school management tasks and foster a culture of shared responsibility and success.

Educational Background & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in school operations, data analytics, or educational technology preferred.
- Familiarity with student information systems such as PowerSchool is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
The starting salary range for the Data & Analytics Specialist is $70,000-$85,000, with a comprehensive benefits package including:
