The Role:
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and highly organized Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead and execute the daily operations of our recruitment process. As a key member of the Talent Team, this individual will be responsible for independently managing the full recruitment cycle, including strategic sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for multiple roles across the organization. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated leader with the ability to develop and implement recruitment strategies, drive process improvements, and make informed hiring decisions with minimal oversight. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be expected to exercise sound judgment, analyze hiring trends, and provide strategic guidance to leadership on talent acquisition initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Recruitment & Execution: Independently manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational hiring goals. Make data-informed hiring recommendations and drive proactive sourcing strategies to build a robust candidate pipeline.
- Teacher Recruitment & Partnerships: Develop and execute high-impact teacher recruitment strategies, cultivate long-term partnerships with key universities and professional organizations, and exercise discretion in prioritizing and managing recruitment channels.
- Candidate Experience & Culture Advocacy: Serve as a key ambassador for the organization’s culture and values, ensuring a seamless and high-touch candidate experience. Autonomously manage communication strategies to keep candidates engaged throughout the hiring process.
- ATS Management & Data-Driven Decision Making: Own the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and analysis. Provide hiring metrics and insights to leadership to inform recruitment strategy and optimize hiring outcomes.
- Operational Excellence & Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Exercise independent judgment in workflow improvements and problem-solving, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Maintain a deep understanding of employment laws and recruitment best practices to ensure compliance in all hiring activities. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights and recommendations on recruitment policies and hiring strategies.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in managing multiple recruitment pipelines with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Experience advising leadership on recruitment strategies and talent market trends.
- High level of professional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive candidate information and hiring decisions.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
The salary range for the Talent Acquisition Specialist is $66,000 - $82,000.
