What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Meg O'Malley's?
At Meg O'Malley's our service team are our ambassadors! Servers are dedicated to 110% Guest satisfaction. Our servers must strive to reach a level of fun and enthusiasm backed by great service, which sets us apart from other restaurants. It is your job to ensure our Guests receive this experience.
About You:
- Friendly, warm and caring attitude that is always ready to greet Guests and team with a smile
- Thinks and acts quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Works well with a team
- Must be 18 years old or older, to serve alcohol. Not 18? Apply for a Hostess, Busser or kitchen position!
- Experience is a plus, but not required! We will train you!
The Job:
- Give a warm welcome to every Guest
- Be fluent in Menu Knowledge, specials and event details
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle and count money
- Expedite food, get beverages, and deliver these items to our Guests
- Communicate effectively with Guests, team members and management
- Helping fellow Team Members when appropriate
- Able to work walking/standing for 100% (up to 8 hours) of shift
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary (30 lbs.)
- Maintain cleanliness throughout dining room and restaurant to company standards
