Pharmacist Liaison

Position Title : Pharmacist Liaison

Location : Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens

Department : Field Pharmacist Department

Reports to : COO

Position Summary : Pharmacist liaisons will serve our expanding base of patients and physicians in the New York region. From our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, we produce compounds of the highest quality, purity, and efficacy for thousands of patients throughout New York. The pharmacist liaison will join our expanding healthcare services team, which works as a cohesive unit to assure outstanding patient care and satisfaction as we fulfill our mission of improving the health of the communities we serve.

Essential Functions :

• Compound representation to the physicians
• Team supervision
• Quality assurance
• Order fulfillment
• Educating physicians of the compounding capabilities
• Prescription verification
• Clinical consultation with patients and / or prescribers
• Assuring the pharmacy's full compliance with our Standard Operating Procedures, and FDA and state regulations.
• Assist in developing education and training programs, and the pharmacy’s internal efforts to improve the work process and use of technologies.
• Will have an opportunity to work with and contribute to the efforts of our R&D team on new formulation development.

Qualifications :

Education : PharmD required, MBA preferred

Licenses / Certifications : Licensed in New York

Professional Experience : 0-1 year of experience working as a compounding pharmacist (RPh)
