Mega Logistic, Inc. (megalogisticinc.com) a fast growing 3PL warehouse is looking for a detail oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join the team. They play a critical role in the efficient operation and processing of goods within the warehouse environment. They are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation of shipments, verifying documentation, and coordinating with drivers for inbound and outbound shipments.
Duties:
- Check-in drivers, obtain shipping numbers, and advise warehouse of driver's arrival.
- Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity according with warehouse direction and vendor assignment in warehouse
- Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation. Partner with the inventory department to resolve any issues
- Assist in appointment scheduling as needed
- Update required reports on a timely basis
- Communicate and problem solve with the CSR team for any issues with their customer account.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
- Ensure safety compliance by enforcing strict adherence to warehouse policies, procedures and regulations
- Assign and coordinate the lumper team which containers to unload
- Check inventory, perform product counts, weight products, and operate handheld barcode scanner
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage stock levels and assist with inventory control.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Apply basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification.
- Perform other duties as assigned
