Job Title : Software Engineer Consultant / Expert GCP Architect
Dearborn, MI (Hybrid) Based Opportunity
12 month's Contract Position
Position Description
Solution Architects work with GDIA teams to design and develop cloud-based solutions using industry-leading architecture patterns and processes. They collaborate with product teams to define and integrate components based on Ford standards and business requirements. This includes :
Defining technical designs and documentation
Participating in proof of concepts and evaluating product solutions
Providing architecture guidance and technical leadership
Key Responsibilities Include :
Technical Expertise
Experience designing data architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, Data Flow, Cloud SQL, Big Query, and related GCP services
Knowledge of Large Language Models, RAG, and Chatbot build and deployment
Experience with high-availability, high-volume, low-latency technologies
In-depth expertise with modern analytics tools and techniques
Preferred Skills
Understanding of infrastructure architecture, including servers, SAN, networking, firewalls, database, and middleware
Experience with Microservices and SPA application architecture
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
Requirements
Google Cloud Platform Architecture experience required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5 years of architect experience at an Enterprise Level preferred
