Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to serve as a working manager within the marketing department. This mid-level role will lead marketing initiatives from planning through execution, oversee a team of marketing professionals, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate combines marketing expertise with project management skills to drive performance, innovation, and brand growth.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as a working manager to oversee all marketing staff and projects across the department.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns that align with business goals—focusing on brand awareness, lead generation, and sales support.
- Manage all social media platforms including content creation, posting, engagement, and performance tracking.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of marketing materials including website content, email campaigns, presentations, and internal collateral, ensuring brand consistency.
- Plan and manage digital advertising campaigns including Facebook Ads—targeting, monitoring, and optimizing for ROI.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure marketing initiatives support overall company objectives.
- Allocate marketing resources efficiently and manage department timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Track and report on key marketing metrics; provide executive updates and data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Drive and support the development, documentation, and implementation of marketing SOPs and workflows across teams.
- Ensure marketing deliverables meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and internal expectations.
- Champion innovation and process optimization within the department to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years in marketing or project management leadership across different marketing channels, preferably in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Project Management: Experience managing cross-functional projects with demonstrated ability to deliver on time and within budget. PMP or Scrum certification a plus.
- Marketing Knowledge: Strong grasp of digital marketing, social media strategy, brand management, and content development.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, IT collaboration tools, and analytics software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a marketing team, delegate effectively, and foster cross-departmental collaboration.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and present to leadership.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in financial services or investment industries is a plus.
- Mindset: Proactive, strategic thinker with a data-driven approach and creative problem-solving skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of marketing department team members, including content creators, designers, and campaign managers.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent combination of education and experience.
