Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for Lathe/Turning to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing programs for CNC machines to produce precision parts based on technical drawings and specifications.
Duties
- Develop and write CNC programs using CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar tools
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts with precision and accuracy
- Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the most efficient production methods
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize machining processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles
- Experience with CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar programs
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments
- Solid mathematical skills for calculations and problem-solving
- Mechanical knowledge to understand machine operations and tooling requirements
