Megatel Homes, LLC is currently looking for an experienced Drafter to support our fast-paced, large volume, residential production building. The right candidate will be a positive and enthusiastic team player with great communication skills, reliability, and the ability to multitask. If you are detail-oriented, passionate about home building, and skilled in CAD software, we would love to hear from you! You will play a critical role in supporting our construction projects by creating detailed technical drawings and plans. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality design plans are produced for each home we build.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Produce and revise the architectural plans, lot fits, plot plans, and sales brochures needed for new home construction. This is a full-time position - no remote work available.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Proficient in AutoCAD software.
· Ability to understand and create residential construction documents.
· Must be extremely detail-oriented.
· Must be able to multitask with several projects working at any given time.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Basic knowledge of residential codes (IRC).
EXPERIENCE
· General understanding of residential architecture
· 2-4 years residential experience preferred
