As a Superintendent at Megawatt Construction, you will have the opportunity to join our small but growing business and participate in projects impacting areas across the business. The successful candidate will have the ability to be an expert in all aspects of construction. They are competent in base building concrete and building shell, interior CSA and MEP work, commissioning, and project closeout. They are mentors to the project team members, and they actively work to build the team through both individual development and recruiting new team members. They oversee the schedules of their projects and manage the teams to make sure the jobs are completed on time. The Sr. Superintendent is capable of running very large projects or multiple projects simultaneously. They work with their safety committee to establish policies and implement them in projects.
Daily Goals
- Networks with potential clients.

- Respond to RFPs and develop scheduled/logistics plans for RFPs.
- Mentors’ superintendents.
- Walks projects daily.
- Conduct a site safety walk every week.
- Review project schedules in weekly update meetings
- Manages their primary project on a day-to-day basis.
Core Competencies
- Able to run projects 25M
- Fully understands both the CSA and MEP aspects of base build and fit-out construction.
- Extensive background in all types of construction – Data Center, Healthcare, Commercial, higher education, etc.
- Is a mentor to Superintendents, Foremen, Assistant Superintendents
- Provide training to superintendents.
- Understands the pros and cons of different construction elements and can speak from experience in those areas (liquid-cooled vs air-cooled, etc.)
- Manages the timely closeout of the project.
- Works with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendents to close out the project on time.
- The point of contact with the client and manage satisfaction with the results of the project.
- Works with the architects and engineers to ensure a quality installation.
- Manages and drives the Design Built phase of projects.
- Actively develops business leads with existing and new contacts.
- Is engaged in the construction industry outside of Megawatt activities.
- Builds and manages the project team. Is a mature, guiding hand for the team. Addresses HR issues and is someone who people can reach out to with issues.

Experience
- 10 years minimum construction experience.
- Journeyman or Bachelor’s Degree
Compensation and Benefits:
MW provides a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings.
Expected Salary: $140,000 - $150,000
MW is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location. MWE reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on a circumstance not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
