Our Fulfillment Center Lead Associate role at MEGHANI is a full-time, hourly position reporting directly to the Fulfillment Center Manager at our Fulfillment Center in the Design District of Dallas.
The Fulfilment Center Lead Associate will oversee day-to-day operations in the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This individual will supervise warehouse associates, manage inventory, and assist in coordinating the movement of goods from receipt to shipping. The Warehouse Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining a productive and organized environment, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for working with the Fulfillment Center Manager to ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of all product materials and finished products.
Daily importing and allocation of all orders. Ensuring there is a solid daily plan to get all orders shipped out to our customers.
Acts as the main point of contact for associates to ask questions and clarify doubts.
Receives inventory during inbound shipments from our factories in China.
Balances time spent daily allocating orders, providing leadership to the team, assisting on the warehouse floor and processing returns.
Provides training to current, new and temporary team members as needed.
Works closely with the Customer Service Team and acts as the liaison between them and the Fulfillment Center Team.
Works hand in hand with the Fulfillment Center Manager in the planning and execution of strategy and organization including but not limited to floor plan, process optimization, supervising employees, hiring as needed, supply ordering, and more.
Always guarantees orderly and safe working conditions through the establishment and maintenance of work stations.
Handles the flow of returned products, which may include receiving, sorting, inspecting, and processing in the system.
Contacts customers to inform them of the rejection of damaged return if needed.
Recommends tools, equipment, methods or layout changes to improve workflow, productivity, quality and efficiency.
Monitors and provides quality assurance of finished products, and delivery date deadlines.
Attentive to details when handling product
Keeps the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
Performs other duties as required by the nature of the position or as requested by the Manager.
What You’ll Bring:
2 years of warehouse experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Comfortable performing physical duties including standing, climbing, crawling, lifting, pushing, and pulling
Comfortable with heights and heavy lifting. Example: Working with an 8 ft rolling ladder to pick or put away heavy cartons of up to 50 lbs
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and online based programs
Warehouse Management System experience with common transactions, shipping, barcode scanners, and printing labels
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Extremely organized and highly collaborative
Pallet jack experience not required but a plus

Schedule:
Eight (8) hours Monday through Thursday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST) and four (4) hours on Fridays (7:00 AM - 11:00 AM CST)
Overtime may be required during peak season, including the days leading up to and following Black Friday and Christmas (November 15 - December 31)
