What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residency Program Coordinator position at Meharry Medical College?
Oversees the day-to-day management of the program to include trainings, educational conferences, orientation, and recruitment
Responsibilities
- Develop and edit program’s marketing and advertisement materials, including website content
- Creates, designs and implements recruitment plan and timeline for training program
- Establish and preserve confidentiality of all financial, personnel, and legal records to ensure compliance for continued accreditation
- Distribute and maintain monthly evaluations
- Creates and maintains yearly didactic and other conference schedules
- Assists with the development of the yearly block and rotation schedule
- Provides ongoing support for new and current residents
- Maintains minutes for Clinical Competency Committee meetings and Program Evaluation Committee meetings
- Coordinates the monthly reporting for GMEC meetings
- Maintains program letters of agreements
- Maintains policy and procedure manuals for the Residency Training Program
- Functions as a repository of expertise for the program to advise accreditation agencies, stakeholders, committees, and institution
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and maintain adequate levels of accountabilities to systems management
- Experience with accreditation and/or compliance regulations
- Experience in education
Salary : $46,100 - $58,400
