Looking for professional HHA
We are seeking a skilled, experienced direct support professional to provide personalized care to our clients in the Wellington area. The individual will begoing out in the community typically involves a direct support professional or a trained companion accompanying an individual to participate in social, recreational, or community activities. The goal is to support the individual in engaging with the community while promoting independence, social inclusion, and the development of skills in real-life settings. This can include activities like:
- Going to a local park, museum, or library.
- Attending social events or group outings.
- Shopping or running errands.
- Participating in a class or group activity.
The companion's role is to provide support as needed, whether that's assisting with communication, navigating social situations, or ensuring safety, while encouraging the individual to interact and enjoy the experience as independently as possible.

Possess a high school diploma or GED and 75 hours of state approved training
Be at least 21 years or older
Possessed appropriate training, licenses, certificates and credentialed by the Department of Health.
Successfully passed an FBI Level 2 background and DMV checks.
Completed the required Zero Tolerance training prior to working with individuals served and the mandatory twelve hours of continuing education each year.
Requirements
· A current, valid state certification and in good standing
· Reliable transportation
· Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable experience
· Must be eligible to work per AHCA
· High school diploma or GED
· Successful completion of a nursing assistant program
· Current CPR card
· Mandatory CEU's (Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication, Bloodborne Pathogens, OSHA, Infection Control, HIV/AIDS, Sexual Harassment, Hazardous Materials and Alzheimer's)
· Eligible AHCA Level 2 Background Check
· Physical and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within the past 6 months
· Driver's License, valid auto insurance and reliable automobile
· CNA certification
· High level of patience, empathy, and compassion
· Excellent observation and communication skills
· Basic computer and note-taking skills (record keeping)
· Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
