PART-TIME Customer Service Representative - Corporate Office

Mei Group is searching for a Part-Time Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our corporate office and the CSR position will be responsible for taking inbound calls on current customers and initiated outbound calls to complete a welcome call on new purchases.

Job Description

  • Prior experience in customer service or a call center environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and CRM software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as business need requires.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers over the phone, via email, or through online chat platforms.
  • CSRs must be able to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Prior experience in customer service, whether in a call center or another customer-facing role, is preferred.
  • CSRs need to be empathetic and patient when dealing with customers, especially those who may be frustrated or upset.
  • The ability to listen actively and demonstrate understanding is crucial for resolving issues satisfactorily.
  • CSRs should be adept at identifying customer problems or concerns and finding solutions quickly and efficiently.
  • This may involve troubleshooting technical issues, addressing billing inquiries, or resolving product-related issues.
  • The call center environment is to be fast paced, with CSRs handling multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively is essential for success in this role.
  • CSRs need to be comfortable using computer systems, customer relationship management.
  • (CRM) software, and other tools and applications relevant to their job duties.
  • Training is provided, but basic proficiency in using technology is expected.
  • Call center environments can be dynamic, with policies, procedures, and customer inquiries changing frequently.
  • CSRs should be adaptable and able to quickly learn and adjust to new information and processes.
  • While CSRs often handle customer inquiries independently, they also need to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to resolve more complex issues or escalate concerns as needed. Being a team player is important.
  • CSRs must accurately record customer information, document interactions, and follow specific protocols and procedures.
  • Attention to detail helps ensure that customer records are complete and accurate.
  • CSRs represent the company to customers, so professionalism in demeanor, language, and appearance is crucial.
  • This includes being courteous, respectful, and maintaining a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
  • Call center schedules may include evening and weekend shifts.
  • CSRs should be willing to accommodate varying schedules based on business needs.

Schedule

  • 20-25 hours per Week
  • Day Shift
  • Monday to Saturday
  • Specific hours will be discussed and finalized during the interview, but the role requires availability across these six days.

Compensation: $16.00 hourly plus weekly incentives up $150.00
