Social Media Specialist :
The position will have an external marketing focus and lead MEI’s social media strategy. Will execute day-to-day management of MEI affiliated brands social media platforms. As a key member of the Marketing department, the Social Media Specialist will collaborate with marketing and recruitment team members and sales professionals across MEI to support company-wide and local initiatives, events, and recruitment efforts. This role will grow our social media following and provides valuable insights through analytics and performance tracking.
What You Will Do :
- Create robust social media strategies across key platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube) that enhances brand awareness and drives engagement. Implement strategic and lead-generating campaigns across social platforms.
- Write engaging and innovative content for social medial posts and across known and popular digital platforms.
- Strategize building our brand, expanding our reach, and implementing social media growth concepts from idea to content launch.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics; provide actionable insights and information and make recommendations to enhance engagement and return on investment.
- Monitor systems daily and promptly reply to messages, comments, and interactions from internal and external customers.
- Stay current or ahead of digital marketing trends; participates in strategic planning; works toward brand consistency.
- Keep a current monthly social media calendar to foster timely content scheduling and relevant posting(s) that may be date or event specific. Frequent interaction with other departments (Sales, HR, safety, project managers, etc.) to determine upcoming promotions or events.
- May travel domestically, including overnight, to highlight MEI sponsored events, job fairs, ribbon cutting, or for regional office marketing campaign requests.
- Perform regular and predictable work remotely and perform work during scheduled and / or agreed upon times.
- Assist in other duties as necessary or directed.
