Job Description – Parts Coordinator
A Parts Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks, but not limited to:
Building estimates based on technician needs per vehicle
Receiving parts from aftermarket, dealer, and salvage vendors
Ensuring core and warranty tags are made for parts on vehicles
Ordering parts when there are no estimates
Writing up parts to be returned to aftermarket vendors
Communicating with others about ETAs for part arrivals
Qualifications
1–2 years of parts ordering experience
Experience with ReconPro, PartsTech, RepairLink, or AllData Repair is optional but beneficial
Ability to lift 20 lbs multiple times a day, sometimes up to 70 lbs
Ability to read, type, and communicate via email, in person, or over the phone
Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for various amounts of time
Ability to multitask
