Automotive Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Meineke Car Care Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing passenger vehicles and trucks, as well as performing routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and tune-ups
- Provide accurate labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
- Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
- Emission inspections of vehicles
- Continuously learn new information and techniques, including implementation of new tools and technology
- Train and teach new team members as needed
- Contribute to a positive, productive team environment
Requirements:
- ASE certified or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive shop
- Must have diagnostic experience
