- Oversee daily operations, providing a positive and engaging environment that builds trust through integrity, honest and transparency
- Ensure customers are provided a detailed digital health check of their vehicle on every visit
- Remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
- Recruit, hire, and train automotive technicians
- Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and peers to share knowledge and grow the business
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset management
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED equivalent needed
- Five or more years of experience in a general manager position for a full-service automotive repair shop is necessary
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
- Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record to operate customer and company-owned vehicles
- Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success
