About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our California team. This role supports our asbestos and mass tort litigation practices. The ideal candidate is a proactive and skilled professional with deep knowledge of California litigation procedures and e-filing requirements in Los Angeles and Alameda counties. This is a remote position.
You Will:
- Manage all phases of litigation with a focus on asbestos and mass tort matters
- Manage discovery, including formatting and serving written responses and outgoing requests, noticing depositions, scheduling court reporters, calendaring deadlines under the Code of Civil Procedure and coordinating document productions
- Prepare, format, and file pleadings including complaints, motions, trial and pre-trial submissions, consistent with Local Rules.
- Conduct e-filings in state and federal courts, including Los Angeles and Alameda counties, consistent with Local Rules.
- Communicate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel
- Organize and manage client files, medical records, and litigation documents
- Assist with trial preparation and settlement documentation
- Monitor case deadlines and maintain accurate calendars
You Have:
- 5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation; asbestos or mass tort experience strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of California civil litigation and court procedures
- Proficiency with e-filing systems, including LexisNexis and PACER
- Prior experience filing in Los Angeles and Alameda counties is required
- Must be based in the Pacific Time Zone and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience in a fast-paced litigation setting and the capacity to stay organized and level-headed.

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process
