Hotel Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests at our hotels and resorts, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in managing guest arrivals and departures, handling reservations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to enhancing the guest experience.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage the arrival and departure processes efficiently and accurately.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with attention to detail.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests and all guest calls are resolved.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality / customer experience roles or experience in a resort setting is preferred.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Excellent phone etiquette to manage incoming calls professionally.
• Proven skills in guest relations to foster positive interactions with all visitors.
• Experience in front desk operations within a hotel environment is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills to address guest needs effectively and courteously.
