How you will make an impact:
The Operations Manager, Single-Use Process Solutions is responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of the production process to ensure that the assembly of single-use biocontainers and biopharmaceutical systems is done efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance day-to-day operations with long-term improvements, overseeing production planning, team leadership, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives. By fostering a culture of safety, quality, and productivity, the Operations Manager, Single-Use Process Solutions plays a crucial role in achieving the Meissners production goals while maintaining cost efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong focus on operational excellence are key to the success of this role.
- Lead, mentor, and train the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability between production, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare reports to communicate production performance, challenges, and recommendations to senior management. Analyze data to identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Reviews Daily production schedule, communicating priorities to the production supervisors & leads through use of computers/software which facilitates all phases of production activity including tracking of production order status, electronic batch record generation, lot control, inventory control, etc.
- Continuously assess production processes to identify areas for efficiency improvements, and implement best practices to reduce waste, costs, and downtime.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and safety training for staff including SOP updates to include the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies, including business continuity plans.
This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.
The skills and experience youll need:
- 5 7 years of industry and management experience supporting engineering, product development, manufacturing, and business operations.
- Minimum 4-year degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Business Management, Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, or similar.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to detect problems as they arise in production, provide guidance and implement process improvements as necessary.
- Ability to record, report and analyze production data for presentation to Senior Leadership.

Work Environment
Single-Use Production is performed in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns and shoe covers must be worn. Shorts, loose or baggy clothing is not permitted. Makeup, hair styling products, soiled, fuzzy or frayed clothing must not be worn into the cleanroom. Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage our products, only non-smokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom.

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
