How you will make an impact:
Support Products Technicians are an integral part of the team that facilitates the use and implementation available to our customers. The Support Products Technician manufactures and assembles accessory products performing finishing work such as polishing and may assist with basic electrical or pneumatic controls setup. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, ability to work with variety of hand powered tools, good follow-through and good intuition are key attributes for being successful in this position.
- Assemble FlexStation® and FlexCessoryTM solutions products and other accessory products according to design specifications which will be communicated via engineering drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), blueprints and/or schematics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Perform grinding, deburring, and polishing of metal and other materials to achieve smooth finishes.
- Sets up a variety of attachments and/or belts to grind surfaces, etc. on parts and secures holding fixtures or attachments to hold or support work piece for grinding.
- Interfaces with computers/software which facilitates all phases of production activity including tracking of production order status, electronic batch record generation, lot control, inventory control, etc.
- Maintains meticulous records of production and defects.
The skills and experience youll need:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
- Proficiency in polishing, grinding, and finishing metal or composite materials a plus.
- Ability to use and read a tape measure, micrometer, and caliper and interpret mechanical drawings or schematics.
- Basic understanding of control systems, including wiring, sensors, and pneumatic/electrical components.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work with others to achieve a common goal.

US BASE PAY SCALE $18.66 - $22.52
The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
Salary : $19 - $23
