2nd SHIFT PRESS OPERATOR

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Press Operator to join our team in Tennessee, TN. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating mechanical and hydraulic presses to produce high-quality metal parts. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues will be critical to your success in this role. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience operating mechanical and hydraulic presses
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CNC machines
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate mechanical and hydraulic presses to produce high-quality metal parts
• Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during production
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Skills:

As a 2nd Shift Press Operator, you will use your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to set up and operate mechanical and hydraulic presses to produce high-quality metal parts. You will also use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during production. Your ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics will be critical to your success in this role.
