We are seeking talented, driven English Teachers with a passion for education. Teachers can expect to guide students ranging from grades 4 to 12. Strong aptitude for teaching in-group as well as one-on-one settings. Paid training and orientation provided.
Part-time and full-time positions are available. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications after completing our base-rate training.

Qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Lead English classes, in group or one-on-one settings, with a focus on critical reading, essay writing, and middle school and high school test preparation.
- Work with students to perfect literacy, vocabulary, and reading comprehension skills
- Grade essays using the NJ State Holistic Scoring Rubric and MEK’s signature rubric
- Use computer and web applications for student record-keeping, grading, and materials preparation
- Have a team player mindset, with an enthusiasm for coordinating efforts with fellow teachers
- Motivate and inspire students to develop a passion for reading and writing
Education and Experience
- Have a four-year degree in English, Literature, or a related subject
- 1 years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred
- Strong organization, prioritization, written, and verbal communication skills
