LIQUOR STORE ASSOCIATE
- Liquor Store Associate - Sat, Sun - weekday as needed
Mel's Sport Shop is looking for reliable, self-starters to become a part of our team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide friendly and positive customer service to customers
- Perform accurate cashier functions, including scanning, making change, and handling cash
- Perform required ID checks to validate customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol and tobacco products
- Comply with all regulations regarding sales transactions and established procedures
- Restock shelves and fill coolers with new merchandise
- Assist with periodic inventory of stock on hand
- Perform other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Experience in operating a cash register and making changes
- Experience in retail sales
- Ability to stand, walk, twist and lift up to 50 lbs, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service
- Must be 18 years old
