About Melbourne Christian Co-Op:

Melbourne Christian Co-Op is a three-day-a-week cooperative designed to partner with families who choose to homeschool, offering a Christ-centered education for children in grades K-6 and a learning co-op for students in grades 7-12. We provide a strong foundation in core subjects while fostering social connections in a supportive community. Our model prioritizes enhancing family dynamics by allowing families to focus on enrichment activities outside the classroom. This approach combines the flexibility and personalization of homeschooling with the structure and collaboration of a co-op, empowering parents to nurture both academic excellence and meaningful family time. Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned subjects using provided curriculum — with the freedom to bring your own teaching style and creativity to the classroom.
• Deliver engaging, Christ-centered instruction that supports both academic and spiritual growth.
• Collaborate with parents and fellow educators to ensure consistency and support in the student learning experience.
• Foster a nurturing and disciplined classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and a love for learning.
• Participate in community events and contribute to the co-op's mission and values.

Qualifications:

• A strong commitment to Christian faith and values.​
• Experience in education, homeschooling, or related fields is preferred.​
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.​
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.​

Subjects/Grades Needed:

We are currently seeking educators for various grade levels and subjects. Specific needs will be discussed during the interview process.​
