Job Summary:
As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to our customers' aircraft. Your main duties will include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosing problems, and ensuring all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
A&P Mechanic Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft, including single-engine and multi-engine piston aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems.
- Conduct repairs on aircraft components, including engines, propellers, and landing gear.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Ensure aircraft are ready for flight and in safe operating condition before releasing them to customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Work collaboratively with other mechanics and staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to customers.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid A&P Mechanic certificate.
- 3-5 years of experience as a General Aviation A&P Mechanic. (Recent Experience)
- 2 Years of Experience working on Cessna 172s (Required, Experience must be outside of that gained while training to become an A&P)
- Preferred ability to demonstrate knowledge of Cessna, Beechcraft, Piper, and Cirrus aircraft.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality of work
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Avionics experience is a plus!
