DESCRIPTION
Successful candidates with retail and general aviation experience will be asked to offer our customers a wide range of aviation products. Responsibilities will include receiving returns, stocking store, and shipping merchandise. Also responsible for providing excellent customer service for in-store customers.
· Welcome customers with a greeting; offering sales assistance.
· Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items based on the customer’s needs.
· Help customers make selections by building customer confidence: offering suggestions and opinions.
· Document sale by creating or updating customer order records and processing payments.
· Keep clientele informed by notifying them about future merchandise of potential interest.
· Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and technical questions regarding products.
· Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally.
· Continually build product knowledge and stay informed on industry changes to better assist customers.
· Provide excellent service and ensure customer satisfaction by exceeding expectations.
· Perform a variety of fulfillment duties such as pulling customer orders, packing/assembling orders, labeling boxes.
· Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
· Verify outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, such as matching shipping label with invoice number and matching items with their SKUs.
· Process packing sheets and other documents.
· Assist in Inventory Audits.
· Packaging products which may include, but is not limited to, labeling, assembling boxes, boxing, sorting, etc.
· Maintaining efficiency standards.
· Review products for quality.
· Cleaning tasks as assigned.
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
· General Aviation Experience/Knowledge 1 year is strongly preferred.
· Customer service experience.
· Intuitive and teachable in product knowledge as well as fulfillment of orders.
· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while working within a fast-paced environment.
· Physical ability to lift and/or move bulky merchandise up to 50 pounds.
· Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
