Job Description :
Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a dedicated and experienced Functional Maintenance Program Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies, ensuring that all equipment is used efficiently to promote therapy outcomes and minimize waste. As a coordinator, you will collaborate with the therapy team to recommend equipment and supply needs, assist in resident assessments, and help develop individualized occupational therapy plans. This role is essential in providing quality therapy treatment and ensuring that care plans reflect the necessary therapies for each resident.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with the care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
- Recommend equipment and supply needs to the therapist.
- Use all department equipment efficiently, minimizing waste while promoting desired therapy outcomes.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Ensure occupational therapy procedures align with the care plan for each resident.
- Participate in resident assessment activities as needed.
- Develop occupational therapy plans in coordination with the resident assessment (MDS).
- Provide therapy treatment in accordance with the resident’s plan of care.
