Recycling Pick-up and Delivery Driver

Join our dedicated team as a driver for clothing and shoe recycling pick-up and delivery! In this role, you will safely operate a 16' or 26' box truck, transporting items between various bin locations from Vero Beach to Titusville, FL, with Fort Pierce, FL serving as your home base.

Note: A CDL is preferred but not required for this position.

About the Position: This part-time role requires 25-30 hours per week, spread across four days. We are looking for candidates who can commit to two 8-hour days and two 4-hour days each week.

As part of our team, you will help provide an easy recycling solution for clothing, textiles, and shoes, contributing significantly to environmental sustainability by keeping these items out of landfills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 1 year experience safely operating a 26' truck
• Load and unload bags of clothing (up to 50 lbs) at multiple bin locations along your designated route from Vero Beach to Titusville
• Work outdoors in the Florida heat
• Transfer collected items from the truck to the trailer
• Accurately track and document your activities using an app on your personal smartphone
• No prior industry experience required; training will be provided (Equal Opportunity Employer)

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• National criminal/driving background check will be conducted
• Must pass a drug test
• Capable of handling the physical demands of the job - including significant bending and lifting
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily along your designated route (provided via the app)
• Dependable, conscientious, and possess a strong work ethic
• Potential for commission bonuses for signing up new bin locations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
