What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Fine Dining Server position at Melfi's?
Melfi's is a lively, clubby, fine dining Italian restaurant on Upper King Street, from the owners of Leon's Oyster Shop and Little Jack's Tavern, both of which have been recognized nationally as Bon Appetit's 50 Best New Restaurants in America, and Southern Living's Best New Restaurants in the South. Melfi's was voted Best Pizza in Charleston by Eater after only 3months of service and has also been named one of Southern Living's Best New Restaurants in the South.
We are looking for one incredible server to join our team. We serve a menu of seasonal Italian food, fresh pasta, a variety of small plates, and our Roman style thin-crust pizza.
The ideal candidate will be very service and detail oriented, with an interest in wine service, food, cocktails, beer, and all things Italian. We are looking for someone who has been working in restaurants and is interested in working amongst a group of professionals in a sophisticated dining room where service is polished but warm and familiar - someone who enjoys fine dining steps of service, and is looking to continue their growth by learning as much as possible, whenever possible. Above all, personality and work ethic are key.
We are a growing group with three restaurants and a variety of different opportunities within them. Do well in this position and the potential for growth will come to you with ease.

Daytime weekend availability is required, Friday - Sunday.
