Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors.
- Execute floor care duties including buffing and polishing surfaces to ensure they are well-maintained.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Assist with custodial duties in various settings including industrial cleaning environments.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues that need attention.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Occasionally assist with residential painting or porter duties as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning environments is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while completing tasks.
