We're Hiring: Dance Teacher
Melissa & Starling’s Performing Arts and Tutoring, based in the Boynton Beach Mall and expanding to a new location, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Dance Teacher to join our vibrant team.
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about dance, loves teaching youth, and brings creativity and structure to the classroom. If you’re ready to inspire and energize students through movement, performance, and mentorship, we’d love to hear from you.
Position: Dance Instructor
Type: Part-time or Full-time
Schedule: Weekdays and Saturdays (Flexible Hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students ages 5–17 in a range of dance styles (hip-hop, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and more)
- Choreograph routines for seasonal recitals, showcases, and community performances
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports student growth
- Help build confidence, discipline, and teamwork through dance
- Maintain a structured and engaging classroom experience
- Collaborate with fellow instructors across our music, art, and academic programs
- Support performance prep and assist during rehearsals and special events
You’re a Strong Candidate If You:
- Have experience teaching dance to children and teens
- Are skilled in classroom leadership and choreography
- Bring energy, reliability, and a love for the performing arts
- Have a background in dance education, performance, or a related field
- Can manage a variety of age groups and skill levels
- Are committed to consistency, creativity, and student success
