Join Our Team: Art Class Mentor Opportunity
Melissa & Starling’s Performing Arts and Tutoring, located in the Boynton Beach Mall and expanding soon, is looking for a passionate and creative Art Class Mentor to inspire and lead students in our growing visual arts program.
If you enjoy working with children and teens and love seeing young artists bring their ideas to life, this could be the perfect role for you.
Position: Art Class Teacher
Status: Part-time or Full-time
Schedule: Weekdays and some Saturdays (Flexible Hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging and age-appropriate art lessons for students ages 5–17
- Introduce a variety of artistic techniques, styles, and mediums
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
- Help students prepare artwork for events, exhibits, and performances
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space
- Collaborate with other instructors across our music, dance, and academic programs
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience teaching or working with children in an art setting
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A background in fine arts, art education, or a related field
- Creative, dependable, and enthusiastic about youth development
- Ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles and age levels
