A leading boutique family law firm in Troy, Michigan is seeking an Associate Attorney with 5-8 years of family law experience. The firm represents a diverse clientele in complex family law matters and prides itself on providing sophisticated legal solutions and a high level of client service. Responsibilities :

  • Handle a diverse family law caseload including complex divorce cases, child custody, spousal support, and property division
  • Provide expert legal counsel, with a focus on resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, and litigation
  • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, mediation summaries and settlement agreements
  • Represent clients in settlement negotiations, court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assist in complex legal matters
  • Maintain a high level of client service and ensure strong relationships are built with clients

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Michigan Bar
  • 5-8 years of experience in family law with a focus on divorce, custody, and support matters
  • Strong litigation and negotiation experience
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • A client-focused approach and a commitment to achieving optimal outcomes for clients
