ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze manufacturing data such as direct and indirect production labor, inventory, and scrap as necessary to develop reports that help managers make sound business decisions.
- Prepare reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present and expected operations.
- Investigate trends in manufacturing: efficiency, inventory, scrap and manufacturing variances.
- Research and determine the causes of production variances. Conduct weekly review meetings.
- Analyze manufacturing scrap reports and publish a weekly report illustrating the largest contributors in terms of both dollars and percentage
- Understanding of and improving ERP systems
- Prepare, post, verify and record customer payments and transactions
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Assists with monthly closings
- Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to achieve the best results possible
- All other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager
LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- 5 - 7 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with financial software (JD Edwards preferred)
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong command of basic mathematical, computer and communication skills

- Exposure to heat, loud noise, dust, odors, dirt/dust and fumes
