Mellor and Associates is seeking an Audit Senior or Experienced Audit Associate to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Audit Engagement Leadership: Lead (or help lead) and execute audit engagements for clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Client Interactions: Professionally engage with clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, and video conferences to understand their needs, address concerns, and deliver exceptional service.
- QuickBooks Expertise: Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop
- Job Costing and Construction Accounting: Apply knowledge of job costing and construction accounting principles to support clients in the construction industry.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to complete assignments efficiently and effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Independently solve complex problems while knowing when to seek assistance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Client Support: Assist clients and fellow team members in solving problems and streamlining processes to enhance productivity.
- Travel: Occasionally travel to client locations for engagements and continuing education opportunities.
Requirements:
- Current CPA licensure is preferred.
- 2 years of audit experience in public accounting with a reputable firm.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
- Familiarity with job costing and construction accounting concepts.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of client interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a willingness to seek assistance when needed.
- Dedication to helping clients and team members succeed.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and professional development.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime in January to April, with minimal overtime outside that time frame

Salary : $72,000 - $95,000
