Mellow Mushroom Valdosta is seeking a qualified management candidate to grow our team!
As Front of House manager at Mellow Mushroom your responsibilities include:
- Always placing the guest first. Our mentality is "The answer is yes, now whats the question" and you will be held to the same standard.
- Hiring and overseeing all training of service staff(Hosts, Servers, Togo, Bartenders) with oversight from General Manager.
- Schedule service staff in accordance with pars set by General Manager based on projected sales
- Holding service staff accountable to set cleaning tasks, ensuring an excellent guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances; all health inspections meet required state standards. The operational basics and standards are adhered to with total commitment and passion through providing direction and guidance to employees.
- Responds to guest comments while seeking the opportunity to build guest count.
- Sets excellent customer service and work examples.
- Demonstrate knowledge of entire menu and preparation.
- Engage in community and market-related opportunities at the restaurant and in the community.
The ideal candidate:
- has a passion for guest service.
- is self motivated and can work unsupervised at times.
- puts the word "pineapple" somewhere in their cover letter.
- Is comfortable in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- can work a flexible schedule including late nights and weekends.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
