Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and facilitating smooth seating arrangements in our restaurant. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
• Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Take reservations and manage waitlists effectively using our POS system.
• Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate guest needs and special requests.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Support other team members during busy periods to ensure excellent guest service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
• A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest services.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
