Melloy Chevrolet, Ford, Ram in Los Lunas, New Mexico is currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to work in one of our three locations in Los Lunas. The successful candidate will have 5 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic with the ability to perform truck repair and maintenance work on a variety of diesel engines. We offer light duty and medium duty diesel products so you will be working on engines from Ford, Chevrolet, Isuzu, and Ram. If you have any certifications from those manufacturers we definitely want to talk to you, if you don’t but have the right experience we will put you on the fast track to becoming certified and earning more. Don’t worry, if you have the experience we need you are probably getting a raise as soon as you start with us and it only goes up with each certification.

The Diesel Mechanic will be required to:
Perform minor and major repairs on vehicles.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance on trucks and service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes.
Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
The ideal Diesel Mechanic will have:
5 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Current DOT Medical Card
Ability to lift to 150 pounds.
Excellent reading and writing skills.
ASE Diesel Certification a plus
CDL License a Plus!
