Melmark Overview Melmark is a nonprofit organization providing clinically-sophisticated evidence-based special education, residential, vocational, and therapeutic services for children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, medical complexities, and other neurological and genetic disorders. # Overnight Supervisor Overview The Overnight Supervisor will provide supervision to assigned residential programs and assigned staff.# The Overnight Supervisor will monitor and report health, safety and environmental needs of assigned homes.# The Overnight Supervisor will maintain an active presence in homes during overnight hours. This position requires that the employee is awake throughout the entire shift to ensure the health and safety of all individuals served in the program. # Schedule and Salary Information Monday- Thursday 10p-8a Starting Rate : $21.50 / hour ( ) based on years of direct relevant experience # Requirements Bachelor#s degree strongly preferred; Minimum requirement of 60 College Credits.### If Bachelor degreed, at least one (1) year experience with children required.# If Associates or 60 college credits, at least 3 years# experience with children required. A valid US driver#s license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old.# Must be capable of attaining approved Melmark driver status.# Experience in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis.# Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. # Overnight Supervisor Responsibilities Ensures staff are attentive to and maintain resident hygiene, grooming and dressing needs (i.e. nails clipped, hair brushed, cloths clean and free of holes, dressed appropriately for weather conditions). Ensures documentation and notification to nursing, supervisors, QI, and AOC as indicated by policy. Ensures staff adheres to assigned level of supervision and staffing ratios. Ensures completion of all daily documentation, as applicable (e.g., stool charts, body checks, BIRs, A / Is). Ensures proper implementation of the Bedchecker software program and troubleshoots any difficulties that interfere with data collection. Actively monitors all Bedchecker devices and nightly reports generated from the Bedchecker system. Ensures compliance to all overnight cleaning expectations (e.g., checklists, chore charts). Ensures timely completion of all health and safety indicators (e.g., fire drills, fire training, health and safety checklists). Assists with the development and delivery of department-wide trainings (e.g., monthly Clinical Associate / Residential Aide trainings, Safety Care Trainings, Annual Trainings). Conducts nightly rounds in all RTF homes and completes the required documentation.
