Operations Manager

We have hired for 85% of the team and are looking for a few more unicorns in operations non office and possibly 2 drivers

DUTIES

• Provide world-class customer service
• Take ownership of projects and accounts provided by sales
• Communicates job progress with builder/contractor, production manager
• Finds solutions to installation issues or unique installation environment for highest quality installation
• Meet subcontractor on site prior to job commencement
• Greets supplier for every delivery
• Identifies potential roofing issues and discusses with project manager, production manager, subcontractor
• Returns unused materials to supplier when job is complete
• Represents company proudly to highest level of respect and professionalism
• Brings trailers to job site as needed
• Coordinates dump schedule
• Performs an inspection upon project completion to satisfy manufacturer and project satisfaction
• Organizes warehouse for production and maintain organization to easily find items
• Desires to grow and improve constantly

REQUIREMENTS

• Familiar with technolgy
• Roofing experience is preferred but not required
• Team player orientation
• Ability to interface with all levels within company as well as external parties
• High degree of self-confidentiality is required
• Must be self-starter, goal-oriented, cooperative
• Must be organized and systematic in work
• Fluent ability to operate different phone applications
• Precise in communication
• Strong work ethic
• Positive and polite
• VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED

PHYSICAL ABILITIES & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Most work will be done at job sites
• Exposed to varying temperature ranges (90 - into the teens)
• Must be able to lift/move up to 70lbs frequently
• May perform tasks requiring climbing, crawling, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, gripping, moving safely over uneven surfaces
• Expected to safely climb ladders reaching up to 60 feet while carrying up to 30lbs
• Must wear personal protective gear correctly

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Summary

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations within the construction sector, focusing on roofing projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, your role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. You will utilize core skills in hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques, while also applying your expertise in construction estimating. Your ability to read blueprints and manage construction sites will be essential. A valid driver's license is required for site visits and coordination.
