THE COMPANY
Melo Roofing is seeking motivated individuals who want to reach their full potential as sales professionals, maximize their income to no limit, and make at least $55k in their first year at Melo.
ABOUT THE JOB
A Melo Rep is responsible for sales and associated duties that will increase the number of jobs sold. You will learn Melo's successful approach to sales during our training program and become a true roofing expert.
Outside sales will sell and manage jobs from a customer service standpoint, engaging customers in the first meeting, keeping them informed during installation, and following up for a customer satisfaction report after jobs are completed. You will work as part of a team and collaborate with estimating, office support, and production to deliver the best experience for our customers from job start to finish.
JOB DUTIES
- Maximize every opportunity with the "selling every lead" mindset
- Exceed sales targets while demonstrating a solid customer focus
- Develop and maintain key client relationships while following up on leads
- Participate in company and industry events and conferences
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and phone calls
- Maintain team player orientation and strong work ethic
- Review installation and ensure that it meets Monarch's quality standards
- Understand that customer satisfaction is our #1 priority
- Keep customers informed before, during, and after projects
PHYSICAL ABILITIES & WORKING CONDITIONS
- Majority of work will be done in the field
- Reps will be exposed to varying temperature ranges (90 - into the teens)
- Must be able to lift/move up to 100lbs frequently
- May perform tasks requiring climbing, crawling, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, gripping, and moving safely over uneven surfaces
- Reps are expected to safely climb ladders reaching up to 40 feet when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven negotiation and customer service skills
- Experience in outside sales and account management
- Strong background in B2B sales and business development
- Proficiency in Salesforce and territory management
- Ability to conduct product demos and upsell effectively
- Familiarity with cold calling and retail sales techniques
- Analytical skills for sales performance evaluation

Pay: $48,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
