Your Role:
As a Ballet Instructor at Melody Lane, you will play a key role in helping students develop their technical skills, artistry, and confidence in ballet. From beginner to advanced levels, you will guide dancers in refining their technique, building strength, and cultivating a love for ballet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging and developmentally appropriate ballet classes.
- Execute pre-written lesson plans for lower-level classes, ensuring consistent and high-quality instruction.
- Plan and deliver lessons for higher-level ballet classes that align with the studio’s mission and values.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated and confident.
- Emphasize proper technique, musicality, and artistry in all classes.
- Collaborate with other instructors to prepare for performances, showcases, and studio events.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students progress in their training.
Qualifications:
- Strong ballet background with training in classical technique (experience in other styles is a plus).
- Passion for working with students of all ages and skill levels.
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required—we welcome dancers looking to grow in their teaching careers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a structured yet encouraging learning environment.
