Your Role:
As a Cheer & Hip Hop Instructor at Melody Lane, you will help students develop coordination, strength, rhythm, and performance skills in both styles. From beginner to advanced levels, you’ll guide students through energetic and engaging classes, emphasizing proper technique, teamwork, and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach fun, developmentally appropriate cheer and hip hop classes.
Execute pre-written lesson plans for beginner levels and plan engaging content for more advanced students.
Foster a positive and supportive class environment where students feel confident and motivated.
Emphasize technique, musicality, and performance quality in all classes.
Collaborate with other instructors to prepare students for performances and showcases.
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students grow.
Qualifications:
⭐ Strong background in cheerleading, hip hop, or both (experience in additional dance styles is a plus!).
⭐ Passion for working with students of all ages and skill levels.
⭐ Previous teaching experience preferred but not required—we welcome emerging instructors looking to grow!
⭐ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
⭐ Ability to create a structured yet encouraging learning environment.
⭐ A team player who thrives in a collaborative, creative atmosphere.
