Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Enrichment Instructor to lead engaging music-based activities for young children in childcare and early education settings. Duties
- Facilitate interactive music sessions tailored to the developmental needs of children (ages 0-5).
- Implement creative activities using instruments, singing, and movement to promote learning and engagement.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and redirection techniques.
- Adapt activities to accommodate different age groups, energy levels, and abilities.
- Build relationships with children, fostering their confidence and social skills.
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators to share session goals and progress.
- Maintain and organize musical instruments and materials to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve programming and curriculum.
- Participate in training and professional development focused on early childhood education and music therapy practices.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in early childhood education, childcare, or similar settings.
- Background in music education, music therapy, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Ability to play an instrument (guitar, piano, or ukulele preferred) or demonstrate strong singing ability.
- Strong classroom management skills, including effective behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with early childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, teachers, and parents effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to the needs of the group.
- Passion for fostering growth, creativity, and learning in young children through music.

Pay: $17.50 - $30.00 per hour
