Job Description

  • Under direct supervision coordinates and performs a variety of communication and secretarial functions on the patient care unit.
  • Acts as the receptionist to patients, visitors, physicians and other hospital personnel.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • High Graduate diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-5 years of related experience required.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent interpersonal, phone and organizational skills required.
  • Must be able to work with detailed, confidential material and to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
